The LARGEST ever recorded girls only camp in NSW!!! A weekend I will never forget.
Our recent "Saving True Blues" camp at Lake Oberon marked a significant milestone for our organization. A year ago, our inaugural "Girls Only" camp brought together 20 incredible women. This year, we witnessed remarkable growth, welcoming 65 participants from across NSW, from Tamworth to the Central Coast and beyond.
The atmosphere at Lake Oberon was electric. As the day unfolded, we gathered around, sharing introductions and getting to know one another. What began as a group of individuals quickly transformed into a vibrant community, filled with laughter and lively conversation.
Lake Oberon proved to be the perfect backdrop for our gathering. This picturesque location, with its serene lake, well-spaced campsites, and convenient access to amenities, provided an idyllic setting for relaxation and connection. The dogs, delighted by the attention of 65 enthusiastic campers, enjoyed a flurry of pats and cuddles throughout the weekend.
As the sun began to set, we gathered around the campfire for a deeply moving and impactful evening. Each woman shared her own personal journey, creating a space of vulnerability and understanding. The atmosphere was charged with emotion, and tears were shed as we listened to the stories of resilience and hope.
This camp was a testament to the power of community and the importance of prioritizing mental health.
