Back to where it all started and nearly 2 years of Saving True Blues, what a way to start the year off!
Familiar faces all round camp as the cars just piled in one by one. Boats, jet-skis, between the lot of us we were in for a great weekend. We were joined by our very first 'out of state' campers, Mitch & Elle alongside their mates and Archie, there little camp dog. Definitely a very touching moment for me to come back to where it all started and now having people come travel to join us for the weekend. Not to mention Harry & Zoe stopping by on their way to S.A, what a way to start a trip!
Hand on heart, everywhere i looked people were laughing, making new mates or enjoying all that Lake Lyell had to offer, and that's what this is all about. Getting out of your comfort zone and meeting people you may never have met in your whole lifetime. While yet again, coming together all to raise awareness for suicide and mental health.
Our chat this camp was one of my favourites. A. big group meant the chance of my story and experience relating to more people, and that it did. I myself was very touched by the feedback and 'thank you' conversations I recieved. All night we talked, played drinking games and maybe got a bit carried away thinking we were at deni... Luke and Jays car do in fact bang... multiple times.
Not only was this the BIGGEST camp we've ever done, but we were fortunate enough to receive sponsorships from our other fellow 4wd enthusiasts brands. MASSIVE thank you to Dollys Dream, Razorbacks 4X4, Penrith City Tyre Automotive, APC 4X4, GDM Electrical, Laila & me and finally Treat Treats.
