Back to where it all started and nearly 2 years of Saving True Blues, what a way to start the year off!
Our recent "Saving True Blues" camp at Lake Lyell was a resounding success, marking a significant milestone for our organization. With a record-breaking turnout of participants, including our first out-of-state guests, the atmosphere was electric. The energy was palpable as friends old and new reunited, and new connections were forged.
It was truly heartwarming to welcome Mitch, Elle, and their friends, along with Archie, their beloved canine companion. Their presence underscored the growing reach of our initiative and the increasing awareness of our mission. The surprise visit from Harry and Zoe, who were embarking on their own South Australian adventure, further added to the festive spirit.
Throughout the weekend, laughter and camaraderie filled the air. Participants enjoyed the lake's recreational offerings, including boating and jet-skiing, while others simply relished the opportunity to relax and connect with nature. The camp provided a safe and supportive environment for open and honest discussions about mental health, with participants sharing their personal experiences and offering words of encouragement to one another.
